I am passionate about conservation of the tiger population. Global Tiger Day is celebrated every year on July 29th as a way to raise awareness about this magnificent but endangered big cat. The day was founded in 2010 at Saint Petersburg Tiger Summit in Russia, to promote a global system for protecting the natural habitats of tigers and to raise public awarenes and support for tiger conservation issues.
This canvas is part of my Vibrant Animals series. This is the first tiger I've painted in acrylic on canvas. It brings a positive and vibrant energy to the room and people around it.
